Summary

Lead Forensics is a leading SAAS company with products in the B2B sales and marketing space. We’re seeking C# full stack developers to add to the teams that build our customer facing products. You’ll be iterating quickly on our modern tech stack and deploying code to production on a regular basis as we respond rapidly to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Turning user stories into code running in production as part of a scrum team
• Ensuring the quality of what you and the team build
• Supporting the product that the team has built as it runs in production and resolving issues
• Contributing to the design, architecture and implementation decisions for the product

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong general aptitude for programming and problem solving. You’ll need to pick up new tools and techniques quickly and use them to solve problems
• Experience with automated testing and quality assurance
• An understanding of how to build systems that perform well at scale
• Enthusiasm for building secure systems and implementing security best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• A technical/computer science degree or equivalent professional experience

Software Engineering at Lead Forensics Group

We’re a bootstrapped SAAS company building a portfolio of different products with the same aim: Increase our customers’ ROI from their online presence. Specifically targeting the B2B market rather than companies that sell to consumers, we’re already the market leader in generating leads through identifying business that visit our customers’ websites by quite some margin.

We’re not just satisfied with cornering that market, and are innovating in a number of different products that do things like web content personalisation and conversion rate optimisation, with the aim being to create the perfect suite of products that are known as the go-to solution for maximising the value of your online presence.

Our engineering team are a critical part of making that happen and we’re constantly building new things, learning new technologies and improving the way that we work to bring products to market that our customers will love. Our culture focuses on delivering things of value to the customer rather than building ivory towers, and in the first couple of weeks our recruits will already have deployed code to production.

Team Structure

We organise our engineering teams around a particular product or feature set, and they take full responsibility for its delivery in a way that matches scalability and security with the maturity of the product. With the number of things that we’re building there’s always the opportunity to change teams and work on something else. If you find satisfaction in resolving complex bugs or resolving technical debt in a mature and stable product, or if you prefer the rapid iteration of prototyping new ideas we’ll have a role suitable for you.

Technologies

We’re building our platform on a modern tech stack with interesting technical problems to be solved. We deal with large volumes of data, have a significant number of customers, and each product has its own unique set of challenges. We’re not building CRUD apps so we need talented software engineers who can solve novel problems.

You don’t need to have had experience with the exact technology stack we’re using, we’re much more interested in people who have got a solid software engineering foundation and can pick up appropriate tools and techniques as they require them.

Software engineering is an intellectual creative process and it fits perfectly with a fully flexible approach to working. If you want to be fully remote, are close enough to our recently refurbished Portsmouth offices to occasionally come in, or want to work full time in the office, it’s entirely up to you
